Thursday, June 21 - Courthouse Lawn

5:00 PM - FSB Community Picnic: free hot dogs, chips, & drinks at Farmers Savings Bank & Trust

5:00 PM - Farmers Market: downtown on 1st Ave

6:30 PM - Kiddie Parade: line up at FSB&T, kids 5th grade & under are invited to dress up like a volunteer or someone who inspires you, decorate bikes, strollers or wagons and join the fun

6:30 PM - Activities: face painting, carnival games, prizes & inflatables

6:30 PM - DJ Tunes: enjoy a mix of today's hits and the classics for all ages

6:30 PM - RU Racing: here's your chance to drive a race car like the big boys

6:30 PM - Ginger the Clown: lots of fun and lots of smiles with balloon creations to boot

7:00 PM - Magic Herman

7:45 PM - Kids Street Dance Party: dance along with the Be the Change REFIT group!

 

Friday, June 22 - Riverside Park

6:00 PM - Party in Pink 5K Walk/Run: sponsored by survivors of Benton County & VGH, all proceeds of the 5K benefit GIFTS of HOPE, a program created to provide mammograms to women who cannot afford them, registrations accepted up to race time, register online: bit.ly/partyinpink2018

7:00 PM - Activities: super sized games like Jenga & Connect Four, food booths, games, activities, prizes & rides

7:00 PM - Live Music! "Plastic Relations", this pop, rock, blues cover band from Iowa City will be providing a night of lighthearted fun as they recycle all of your favorite good-vibe, jukebox music from the 60's to now!

Dark - Spectacular Fireworks! by Bar Y Pyros, the show will start at approx. 9:45 PM

 

Saturday, June 23 - Riverside Park

5:30 PM - Parade: "Celebrating our Vinton Volunteers", Line up will begin at the Benton County Fairgrounds at 4:30 PM. The parade will start at the Fairgrounds and continue north down 2nd Ave, turn west on 6th, continue three blocks and turn north on B Ave, continue to 4th St and will turn going east. Parade is held rain or shine.

7:00 PM - Community Band: local musicians treat us to some big band sounds!

7:25 PM - National Anthem, Announcements & Presentations

7:45 PM - Live Music! "Twice on Sunday", one of Kansas City's premier cover bands loves a party! Their super high-energy performance will be bringing Vinton its clever blend of music from today mashed with iconic tunes from decades past!

Dark - Spectacular Fireworks! by Bar Y Pryos, these fireworks are legendary and the largest in this area! The show will start around 9:45 PM. In the event of rain, fireworks will be held Sunday, June 24.
