Open Skate Admission: $5.00/skater

*Children under the age of 8 will NOT be allowed in any VPRD facilities without the supervision of a parent or guardian. The guardian must be at least 15 years of age. The parent or guardian must be with them at all times.*

Private Rentals - RESERVE ONLINE!

The Skate & Activity Center may be rented for private functions all year round. All rentals must be arranged in advance at least two weeks prior to the requested reservation date. The minimum fee is due at time of booking.
Saturday rental time slots: 10:00 AM - NOON, 1:00 - 3:00 PM, 4:00 - 6:00 PM
Sunday rental time slots: 10:00 AM - NOON, 4:00 - 6:00 PM

  • Skate Rental - 2 hour rental, $150.00 which includes 25 skaters, may bring in your own food/drink, can have DJ, concessions, and game room open, rental over 25 skaters will be $5.00/skater the day of

  • Tot Lot Rental - 2 hour rental, $150.00, may bring in your own food/drink, can have DJ, concessions, and game room open, indoor playground equipment for preschool age and younger

  • Nerf War Rental - 2 hour rental, $150.00, may bring in your own food/drink, can have DJ, concessions, and game room open, includes barricades, Nerf guns/bullets, renter is in charge of organizing and refereeing games

  • Non-Skate Rental - 2 hour rental, $150.00, fee starts from the time you get there until the time you leave, optional set up and clean up fees, may bring in your own food/drink, can have DJ, concessions, and game room open

  • Wedding Reception/Event - please call the Recreation Center at 319-472-4164 for more information

Birthday Corners (during open skate) - RESERVE ONLINE!

Get the party rolling with a private corner during open skate. Parties must be arranged one week in advance. We can have two birthday corners per open skate so plan well in advance! Only up to 24 people including skaters and non-skaters. Wristbands will be given out to the entire party up to 24 people. May ONLY bring in cake and ice-cream. Presents are allowed. No decorating on walls. Tablecloths are allowed. COST: $75.00

Skate Center Programs

We offer several programs at our facility including tot lot gym, indoor walking, open adult pickleball, adult pickleball leagues, card playing, and cribbage! Be sure to check our monthly Skate & Activity Center calendars for details!

Special Events
